Mike Tyson Arrested At LAX For Punching Photographer

Mike Tyson has been arrested at LAX airport for battery after a bloody confrontation with a paparazzo outside the United port.  He  allegedly punched the photographer in the face and there was blood everywhere. Tyson was on a card counter at the United Airlines terminal when the incident occurred. The photographer was punched in the face, struck the ground, got up and started walking, leaving behind a trail of blood. An LAPD spokesman said that the photographer suffered a small crack on the forehead. Someone at the scene says TMZ, …, which was very close to Tyson, the photographer, before the boxer hit him. Our source says there ’s blood on the ground, and Mike was taken away in a patrol car. We ‘re told an ambulance was sent at 4:39 PM at LAX and the paparazzo was transported to a local hospital.

TMZ reports that cops say Tyson and the photographer carried out citizen ’s-arrests on each other – both are expected to be filed for offenses battery. The photog was filed on offense Battery – Tyson claimed the photog was so close he was really in touch with the boxer.

TMZ reports that Court officials in Arizona  looking at yesterday’s bloody LAX incident to determine if the ex-champ violated his probation.  If he did, he could end up in an Arizona prison.

Tyson was convicted of felony cocaine possession and misdemeanor DUI in Arizona in 2007. He was placed on 3 years probation. One of the conditions — Tyson can’t violate any laws.

If Arizona prosecutors believe Tyson crossed the legal line yesterday, they could attempt to violate his probation and he could face jail time.
